My research examines the relationship between science, society, and governance in contexts of uncertainty and technological change. I study how scientific knowledge, stakeholder perspectives, and public concerns are integrated into decision-making processes, with a particular focus on risk governance, science and risk communication, and transdisciplinary approaches to research and innovation.

My work combines empirical social research with practice-oriented approaches to strengthen science–society interfaces. I investigate how public engagement, participatory research, and knowledge exchange can contribute to more inclusive and evidence-informed approaches to policy-making and institutional decision-making.
